Garbage Galaxy
Lore and Mission:
The year is 2098.
Life has changed for humans. We can now traverse the universe. Stars and planets that once seemed unreachable are just a hyper-jump away.
But one thing that didn't change for humans is all the junk we throw away. Advanced waste management technology allows us to compress our garbage and stuff it into spherical capsules of varying sizes. But no technology, no matter how advanced, can overcome the laziness of humans.
So now, for your assignment: the galaxy is littered with garbage and it's your job to clean it up! A superior alien race of neat-freaks will be arriving soon and if they deem us too filthy they'll wipe us from existence! Oh yeah, did I mention we also made first contact with extraterrestrial life? Yep, that went well...
Instructions:
You will be manning your very own garbage ship for this assignment. The galaxy is broken up into sectors, each of which containing a Space Waste Star Base. Every mission will begin with you launching off the base, followed by the collection and elimination phase.
Collection: approach a garbage capsule and your ship's magnetic field will automatically pick it up for you.
Elimination: some garbage capsules are too big for your ship to pick up, yet light enough to pull. Use the grappling hook to tow that junk and fling it into the nearest black hole. Some capsules are even bigger and impossible for your ship to haul. You'll have to find more creative ways of disposing these...
Controls:
Launch: Use the mouse to change your launch trajectory. Left Click to launch.
Ship Control: Left click in the direction you want your ship to move towards.
Grappling Hook: Right click in the direction you want to shoot your hook towards.
Grappling Hook Release: Right Click to let go of whatever you're hauling.
Press P to bring up the pause menu, Press R to restart immediately.
